You can also take ground beef that is extra lean, steak, chicken breast that is skinless, egg whites or egg substitutes and fish that has no added fat.

Moving on to the dairy products, cheese, feta or goat is good, cream cheese that is fat free and also sour cream that is fat free. Grains are a source of fiber that is good to preclude acid reflux. So, have multi-grain bread or white, cereal bran or oatmeal, corn bread, rice cake or pretzels. Beverages are mineral water which is good in stabilizing the acidity. For the fats and oil, take salad dressing that is low in fat. Sweet and desserts are cookies that are fat free, jelly beans, red licorice and potato chips that are baked.

The foods that may not make up a good acid reflux diet may include; orange juice, lemon, lemonade, grape fruit juice, and tomatoes. On the vegetables, be keen on French fries and raw onions. Ground beef, marbled sirloin, chicken nuggets and Buffalo wings might not be the right meat to have. Sour cream, milk shake, ice cream and quarterly cottage cheese are dairy products to keep off. Macaroni and cheese, spaghetti with sauce are not good sufficient grains for the situation.
