Rather than hiring a caterer and an expensive cake maker - stand out with your own food trays, personalized, more creative dishes and desserts that every person will be talking about, with a uncostly budget! Rather than having the typical potato salads, cookies, chips, spice it up with say, chocolate dipped potato chips, chocolate strawberries personalized with your graduates' school colors, etc. You will actually stand out and be remembered with these ideas!

2- Invitations- Many ways to cut costs on these: for one, you can send out e-invitations. If you prefer the paper invitations, you can always make them yourself (or have a willing, crafty family member/friend do so). Buying the invitations at a discount party shop will save huge. an additional one option is manufacture your invites on postcards, which will save you from the cost of envelopes and extra postage. And hand deliver the invites to population that you see often!

3- Affordable location. It doesn't get easier than hosting a graduation party right in your own backyard. Set up your food arrangement, tables and chairs (try your local rental town if you do not have enough), and get creative decorating! No backyard? 7- Joint open houses. consider bringing it up to your graduate and their best friend and see if that is an option. Chances are your son or daughter has a close friend(s) that they may want to do this with, so it is worth at least contacting the parents and bringing up this idea. This will let you split costs, share ideas and give the graduates a bigger party.

Congratulations! You or person you know has finally graduated and after a long stint of hitting the books, note taking and sitting in class, it's time to celebrate! Graduation parties are a great way to celebrate the hard work a learner has endured during his or her time in school. It's also a remarkable excuse to get family and friends to collect together. While some parties can be rather extravagant, there are ways to throw a great party on a budget.

The first thing you should do is to resolve how many population are attending the party. This will allow you to resolve upon a location. Possibly your budget allows you to rent out a large facility, but if not, think covering the box and throw the party in your own home! Setting up the party can be affordable, too. Check with friends and family to see if they will let you borrow any extra tables and chairs since renting these items can get pricey. Don't be afraid of finding cheap, either. By sprucing up tables and chairs with either bulk-purchased ribbon or colorful crepe paper, no one will even notice either or not they were rented. For tablecloths, cover the tables with large rolls of either white or brown plain paper. Set out both markers and crayons on the tables so your guests can write their good wishes to the graduate on the paper tablecloths.

If you don't mind cooking and baking, make the food and drinks at home. Purchase a bulk form of some sort of juice like cranberry and apple and add a fizzy soda or champagne to turn it into a tasty spritzer. Instead of providing a large meal, naturally set out tapas like cheese, fruit skewers and bruschetta; all of which are straightforward and affordable snacks. Sweetmeat can consist of bars and cookies or colorful candy stored in sweet dispensers. Have coffee dispensers on-hand throughout the party and spruce up the coffee hub with flavored cream, cinnamon and chocolate sugar. These assorted items are easy, cheap treats that guests will love.
