Does the Medifast Weight Loss agenda Work? It Did For Me

Let's face it.  Most of us who gear ourselves up to start yet another diet have already failed on countless others. There is often very minuscule enthusiasm to start one more diet when our hearts are only half way into it.  We expect most of them to fail because so many have let us down before.  And that was my exact mind set when I started the Medifast weight loss program.  I didn't certainly expect it to work, but I committed myself to the month that I had already paid for.  And I was pleasantly surprised at the essential results.  I'll tell you why I think it certainly worked in the following article.

Why Medifast Was Somewhat separate Than Other Diets I'd Tried (And Failed On):  I knew from my explore that Medifast is certainly a low carb diet.  And, I also knew that my body responded well to these as I had lost a essential amount of weight on Atkins.  However, I gained it all back when I just could not take another day of eating meat and pork rinds.  I'm a carb loving girl and that's just no way to live.  If I can't get at least some sweets semi regularly, I'm not much fun to be colse to - even to myself.

Food And Dessert

So I was hopeful that the snacks and desserts on this diet would help me to stick it out.  I knew I had to get into ketosis (fat burning mode) and I also knew that the low carbohydrates and calorie article on the foods was going to make that possible.  I had my ketone strips at the ready and staggering the hunger (and the rewards) that would come along with this process.  However, I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't nearly as ravenous as I thought.  They have you eating six times per day, so there certainly isn't that much time to get all that hungry.

And I found that the shakes were pretty good as were the bars, the chili, the oatmeal, the eggs, and the pudding.  There was adequate there to keep me going and I learned how to make cookies, baked goods, and muffins from the dry pudding.  And if I did start to get a minuscule discouraged, my results seemed to come steady adequate to keep me going.  I began losing weight pretty swiftly and it just kept up a steady clip from then on out.  Being able to put in order one meal on my own every day (the lean and green meal) helped to give me a sense of control and also gave me a more astronomical meal to look send to each day.

My Medifast Results And Why I Think This Will Work Long Term: To date, I've lost over 90 pounds and it's a rare week that I don't lose at least some weight or avow what I've accomplished.  As I get smaller and smaller, I have to comprehend that the amount of pounds will become less and less, but that the ration remains pretty impressive.  My blood sugar is now general whereas it was at risky levels before.  I have more energy, confidence, and drive.  I wear much smaller clothing and this changes the way that I view (and care about) my appearance. In short, this one area of my life has changed other areas of my life for the better.

And I did have a ensue that I just didn't expect, but have come to see as very important. I am no longer obsessed with food.  I don't ponder it or anticipate it or worry about it on the same level anymore.  Since most of my food is grab and go and the same repetitive thing, they certainly isn't much to fret over.  And my reasoning about food much less is a good thing that needed to happen a long time ago.  And this is why I think that I will be able to keep the weight off.  I'm comfortable with this life style, I can avow it, and I'm not reasoning about food and reduce so much, which is what certainly got me in trouble before.
