I often hear from folks who are seeing for opinions and reviews on the taste, quality, ease of use, and effectiveness of the Medifast meals. They want this information in order to rate if they are going to like the diet and have success on it. Other population are trying to resolve which meals to chose as part of their package. So, in the following article, I'll tell you some of my opinions on the same. My contact on this diet has been a confident one so this might skew my views, but I'm going to share them just the same.
The Medifast Shakes: These are the cornerstone of the diet and are probably the meal that I'm most asked about. I believe that there are any reasons that these shakes are so popular. They are quite tasty. There are many varieties. They are convenient. And they are very low in fat and carbs and high in protein, which makes them quite effective.
Food And Dessert
Now, there are any types of shakes. Probably the most beloved are the women's 55. But, they also have the ready to drink (which you don't have to mix up) and also specialty shakes like diabetic, joint health, metabolism boosting, appetite suppressing, etc. For the most part, I stick with the 55 shakes. My beloved flavor is the Swiss mocha, but all of the flavors are good. In general, the shakes have nearby 90 calories, 13 grams of carbohydrates, 8 grams of sugars, and a 11 grams of proteins.
The Medifast Bars: Next to the shakes, the bars are probably the second most beloved item on the menu. It's foremost to understand that there are two types of bars. There's the maintenance bars of which you are only supposed to have one per day (since they're a little higher in carbs and calories.) There's also the crunch bars and you're allowed to have up to five of these since they are more on par with the other meals in terms of fat and carbs.
I honestly like all of the bars. They are quite tasty and many of the maintenance varieties taste like dessert. The texture is not too crumbly and dry. Many of them are more on the chewy side. The crunch bars have about 110 calories, 12 carbs, 2 sugars, and 11 proteins. The maintenance bars are similar but they have more fat (170) and carbs (22 grams) and sugars (11.) You kind of have to look at the maintenance as a bit of a treat, but this is worth it.
The Medifast Brownies: This is a newer goods and they have been very popular. These are unique as they are made in the microwave and can be served warm. But they are still a "safe" food within the plan. They only have 110 calories, 15 carbohydrates, 8 sugars, and 11 proteins. These have a rich, chocolatey taste and are quite tasty. It's easy to understand their popularity when you try them.
The Medifast Oatmeals: Many population think that this diet is only about shakes and bars, but there are other items that are equally as good but don't get as much attention. The oatmeal is a good example of this. They offer many flavors but my beloved is blueberry or the peach. This meal doesn't taste like a "diet" goods at all. It's only 100 calories, has only one gram of sugar, 15 carbohydrates, and 11 proteins. It can also be used as a dry ingredient for baked goods like muffins.
The Medifast Soups: another meal that population don't always join together with this diet is their soups. There are any varieties, along with chicken noodle, chicken and rice, Maryland crab, vegetable beef, chili, and creams of broccoli, tomato, and chicken. My beloved is the chili. It has a honestly nice taste and it's very versatile. I sometimes use it to make wraps and burritos. I've also been known to use the "cream of" soups for "safe" sauces in my "lean and green" meal. As you might expect, this item falls within the 100 calorie range also.
The Rest Of The Medifast Meals: If I listed every selection and flavor, this narrative would be pretty long. But I can tell you that there are other meals in this plan like the eggs, fruit drinks, and snacks like the cheese puffs and pretzels. This diet is designed so that you have five of the diet's meals every day as well as your main "lean and green meal." And, all of the diet meals (including these eggs, drinks, and snacks) will typically have 110 fat are less, nearby 11 grams of protein, and ordinarily less than 15 grams of carbs.
The snacks are very good, but my beloved are the pretzels. I'm not as fond of the fruit drinks, but I would not like these face of a diet either. The eggs are another one of those versatile products like the chili that you can use in a manifold of ways. In general, my concept on the Medifast meals are high. The taste is mostly good. They are very convenient. And they are so low in calories, sugars, and carbs, while being high in protein so that they are quite efficient also.
